Halloween

For the first time in our family history, the boys went trick or treating (TOT). We were told that our street was very busy with trick or treaters, and they were right. Chris stayed home and manned the door and I took the boys TOT. He said there was a steady flow of kids for 2 hours. We took the opportunity to drop invitation cards into each TOT bag to come to our kids ministry.
Meanwhile, the boys and I went up and down our street for candy. Then we piled in the car and I took them to a local churches Halloween festival. It was fun but Jonathan was getting bored being in his stroller and wanted to action of his own. We piled back into the car and headed to where all the action is in our little town. Let me tell you, I have never seen anything like this before. Rows and rows of TOTs as far as the eye can see, spooky houses, spooky costumes, and spooky because by this time it was dark out. It was a lot of work for very little candy. Next year we will probably venture down another street.
Jonathan in his super cute Superman costume. It also doubles as his pjs, once the cape is removed.
Spriderman in action.
Getting ready for trick or treating.
Just one more picture before we go...
Jonathan getting a head start on his candy bag.
Andrew giving the thumbs up that he is going to get some candy.
Jonathan wondering if brother is going to remember to get him some candy too.

Since Halloween Jonathan has improved his vocab to include 3 more words:
andy (candy)
uker (sucker)
tooti (cookie)

I am in shock that YOU let your boys go TOT. Yay for BFF! Yay for Andrew and Jonathan! Great idea giving out the BCC info.

It was Tonya who told me to do it. She said they don't understand the who satan worship thing. Plus, I had a candy fix.
