One of the many things I love about our new home is our patio. It seems so trifle but our last home had a 3x3 slab out back and we never added a porch. Since we have the space (finally) we bought a kiddie pool for the boys.
Jonathan is a talking fool. Just a couple of weeks ago he would just sign please and cry his eyes out if you didn't understand what he wanted. Now he comes up to you and says, "adfakjsdnfaweu, k;asjdofiwefr (lots of pointing with his chubby little finger), a;alsdfoiwer (more pointing)," and finally I get it, he thirsty and wants his juice. Okay, so technically that's not really talking but it is adorable when he comes up to you and just starts jibbing away like I should know what he is saying. One thing he can say clearly is peek-a-boo.

isaac is finally starting to be able to communicate just a little tiny bit and it's so much fun.
he can say "out" and "all done" and "hello" and "thank you". none of them sound like the intended word, of course, and i'm sure there's more stuff he's trying to say that i have deciphered yet, but it's progress from the incessant crying! :)
how far from w-s are you?
i think we should come visit. we'll bring a cake and a little red car. and some excitement and adventure!
we picked up the little red car at a yard sale (where i also got a covered sandbox that isaac hates, a big box of legos, and some stackable cups that have since been unstacked and mostly lost).
i'll keep my eyes peeled for another little red car for you. they're awesome, but not awesome enough to pay $50 for at target!
