I was finally able to finish painting my kitchen. It's Laura Ashley Olive #3 and I love it. Here's the old blue. I liked it but it made a small kitchen even smaller. Just another picture of it.
the former blue of your kitchen is the current (and chosen by me) blue of our kitchen. ours used to be a lot of busy colorful old lady flowers. it made me hallucinate.
I did like the blue, it was just too dark for that kitchen (plus it had a hideous border with trees and butterflies). I highly recommend that you leave the paint up too. It took us 3 coats of primer to cover it up. I wanted a softer color and I fell in love with this green. It was me who painted it but Chris came home and helped take the tape down. My mom in-law is responsible for helping it look cute. She has a great eye for decorating.
Jennifer...Susan Pope (formerly Grimshaw) gave those to me as a gift. It looks like I painted them that color to match the kitchen. My mom-in-law came up with hanging them there. I love it. Bekah...come over soon so you can see the finished product. I'm tackling Andrew's bedroom this week.
